About
Faye Bowen BSC Physiotherapist, MCSP, POGP
Clinical Director and Specialist Pelvic health Physiotherapist at the Body Clinic Liverpool
Hi, I’m Faye, a fully qualified and HCPC-registered physiotherapist & POGP member with over 10 years of experience. My passion for women’s health physiotherapy began early in my career as a student, and it has guided my work ever since.
Before specialising in pelvic health, I built a strong foundation in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, working across both the NHS and private practice. This experience gives me a deep understanding of the body and helps me provide safe, effective, and personalised care to every woman I treat.
I currently continue my clinical work at the Liverpool Women’s Physiotherapy Department, combining NHS and private practice experience to offer expert, evidence-based treatment.
I also teach Pilates and incorporate it as a rehabilitative approach in my treatments, helping women build strength, stability, and confidence in their bodies.
In addition, I am proud to be an international lecturer and trainer, sharing my expertise in women’s health physiotherapy with other clinicians around the world. Teaching keeps me at the forefront of new techniques and research, which I bring directly into my patient care.
My approach is simple: I provide a safe, supportive space for women to be heard. I love to empower, educate, and help women feel confident in their bodies again, whether it’s recovering after pregnancy, managing pelvic floor dysfunction, or navigating menopause.
If you’re looking for a specialist women’s health physiotherapist in Liverpool who listens, supports, and provides personalised care, I’d be delighted to help.
